Chance is owned and operated by Laurence and Heather McKinstry, Laurence has had 30 years experience sailing the Hauraki Gulf and North East coast.
Laurence and Heather purchased Chance in Nelson in mid 2009 and Laurence motored her back to Gulf Harbour where she was immediately put into survey and  Chance Charters was started.
Laurence and Heather run Chance Charters with the emphasis on having a good time whether its fishing, sightseeing, competition fishing, weekend away,  or a combination of these, our aim is that EVERYBODY on board has an enjoyable time and leaves happy and positive about their charter.
